Procession honours three soldiers killed March 3

DURHAM -- A repatriation procession for three soldiers killed in Afghanistan Tuesday will pass through Durham
Region Friday afternoon.
The ceremonial procession is in honour of Warrant Officer Dennis Raymond Brown, from The Lincoln and Welland
Regiment; Corporal Danny Olivier Fortin, from 425 Tactical Fighter Squadron at 3 Wing Bagotville; and Corporal Kenneth Chad
O'Quinn, from 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group Headquarters and Signals Squadron. The soldiers died in the Arghandab District
of Afghanistan, northwest of Kandahar City, around 5:40 p.m., Kandahar time, March 3.
The cavalcade proceeds along Hwy. 401 to Toronto, and should pass through Whitby around 3:45 p.m. Whitby-Oshawa
MP Jim Flaherty's office was advised that the airbus is to arrive in Trenton at 2 p.m., with a ceremony there to be complete
by 2:45 p.m. Those wanting to join members of his office at the Brock Street (Hwy. 12) Hwy. 401 overpass in honour of the
soldiers can park at the Whitby GO Station.
