Had been a long time dream of Mr. Garry Cuthbert because of what he had personally experienced back in 2004 when he had returned from Las Vegas, New Mexico after taking a computer graphic course.

Prior to leaving Ontario Canada Garry had been on the Ontario Disability Support Program (O.D.S.P.) but because he had left the country he was cut off of this government assistance because not residing in Canada.

As it maybe this computer graphic course was a four year course but as circumstances and current situations would have it Mr. Garry Cuthbert was able to get the course completed within three years instead of the initial five-year course.

During this time frame Mr. Garry Cuthbert had communicated frequently with the above-mentioned agency to be sure there was no unforeseen complications with system for Mr. Garry Cuthbert when he returned back to Ontario Canada.

Like most things there are rules and regulations, traditional political bureaucracy and just plain pure"Bull Shit" with our current social service system as well as our current Disability Support Program (O.D.S.P.) that one must put up with in order to be reinstated back on the system.

Mr. Garry Cuthbert once he had returned back to Canadian soil he quickly discovered that things were not in place as it previously was told to him during many e-mail contacts.

One being there was not adequate space available in the beginning for Mr. Garry Cuthbert at the local men's shelter in Oshawa, this meaning Garry would be on the streets until such time there was space available to accommodate him, however he was able to get sufficient food through the system within the men's shelter and eventually there was a space available within the men's shelter.

You can be assured that this was something totally new and certainly different to what Garry had been used to or accustomed to this far in he is life, even though there was discomfort such as severe case of athletes foot, not having adequate clean close not be able, to shave and shower the way that he had been accustomed to thus far in his life.

It was very educational because of numerous men that he had the opportunity of chatting with during personal stay in the men's shelter he had the opportunity of talking with numerous educated men and men that was uneducated men. Their was just about every type of background that you could imagine in this place or for whatever reason that led them to this way of life after being so productive and useful in society one wonders what caused their terrible fall in life for these individual human beings, like in most places there are a lot of good and at the same time there are a lot of bad and I strongly believe that if everyone is given an opportunity with understanding, compassion and guidance they can turn around.

For this reason with the strong compassion and a burning desire I wanted to try and make a difference in these area because whatever the circumstances of the individual that I come across on the streets they are creatures of God and most important human beings that need a helping hand.

The Homeless Assistance Leadership Ministry, Holy Spirit Ministries Food Basket (HSMFB) is committed to preventing chronic homelessness in Durham region by meeting shelter needs, coordinating supportive services and providing community leadership.

The vision for the Homeless Assistance by Holy Spirit Ministries Food Basket (HSMFB) is that all homeless individuals and families in Durham Region will be provided emergency food, clothing, shelter, transitional and permanent housing, and supportive services through a collaborative structure that effectively coordinates services, shares information, increases funding and eliminates duplication and gaps in services.

ONCE AGAIN ANOTHER CHANCE AT LIFE

Over the course of the past few weeks I have been seeing my family physician and she has been doing extensive assortment of test because of my age the magical number 60 when a man starts to climb the stairs of age there are complications that can set one back if not detected in ample time and for this reason our family physicians put us through variety of test to be sure there is no unforeseen health concerns or the possibility of future complications that could cause future complications with ones health.

As the old saying goes it is better to be safe than sorry, but like most of us I would rather be in this category and then have my personal life interrupted by unforeseen health problems that could have been prevented if they were detected an ample time by our family physicians and other specialized practitioners in their fields of todays modern medicine.

After urine samples and a couple of blood testing and several vials of blood taken in each case and sent off to the lab for their analysis, then they're waiting game waiting for results of these tests being a little nervous and not knowing the outcome of the results of these tests you finally get a phone call from the doctors receptionist leading you know that the doctor wishes to see you in the office so he or she can go over the results of these tests results that have come back.

As a good Lord would have it I was on the borderline for my cholesterol and I would have to moderate it a little more so then I had been and then finding out that the other test samples came back there was no complications and/or any infections that was a blessing then for the results of the blood work there was no real complications, and because of the symptoms that I was having the doctor had figured that I had a inflamed prostrate but at the moment there was no reason to panic or to be upset, however she did require further more tasting and once again I went through the procedure of having the blood work done for this test and I am patiently waiting for the results as I have not heard anything as of yet from the doctor's office, Here's hoping things are the way they should be but then again one never knows I will have to be more patient and just ride this out with the grace of God and Anointing of the Holy Spirit that these results will be okay. One never knows look as in the past week even the Movie Actress Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and Ed McMahon. What is that old saying it comes in three's.... I can truthfully say I am grateful for having an awesome God who is caring considerate and is totally understanding and knowledge what is best for all of us and when the door of death opens it is a new beginning for those who have let their life here on earth and here is hoping that these people mentioned are able to enjoy the fruits of their labor and to be with our heavenly father and his magnificent kingdom of heaven and may they be honored and rewarded further legacy that they've left here on earth for us to a member of them and to think of them often as the days go by and the years roll by as I have said before I believe this is ONCE AGAIN ANOTHER CHANCE AT LIFE Thank you our heavenly father For your many blessings and for the opportunity of serving you as your servant and vessel to reach others who have gone astray.

FAITH:

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired and authoritative Word of God. As such, it is absolutely supreme and all-sufficient in all matters of faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

New Birth

We believe that God, out of His great love for the world, gave His only begotten Son Jesus to be the saviour of mankind. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe that it is the privilege of all believers to be filled with the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking with other tongues; an experience distinct to the new birth. Acts 2:4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing is provided in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of all believers. James 5:14 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.”

The Great Commission

We believe that every Christian has a commission from God to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
